Lord of all,
Watch over me, walk with me,
and answer my prayer.
Help me to know your presence at
every moment of every day.
In times of trouble and in times of gladness,
let me know you are near.
I am nothing without you.
I can do nothing without you.
You call me to follow and to lead.
You give me gifts to share.
You promise me your eternal presence.
Around me there is suffering and need.
The cry for justice is strong.
The sounds of despair and grief are real.
The face of hopelessness is no stranger.
But your blessings are abundant,
your grace has no limit.
And from the goodness you give to the riches
you grant with your help,
I will make a difference in the world.
I will take of the poor.
I will walk with the weak.
I will be an answer to their prayers.
In your name and through your Son,
Who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit,
One God, for ever and ever.
