In the gospels, nearly every page contains a description of Jesus touching someone and healing them. That is how He works. We are human. We need physical contact. We crave the loving touch of another person. That is one of the purposes for the Eucharist (also known as Communion). It is our chance to touch Jesus. And if we come in faith, true faith, we will be be healed.
