Everything went well this morning, in fact, much better than expected by the doctor. (See this entry.)
The doctor told us that the procedure went very well. The bent bone did not break, but it did bend back to its normal shape. He was pleasantly surprised on well the bone did return to his normal shape. He was worried that bending the bone back into shape was a lot like trying to re-bend a bent wire back into a straight line. It never seems to go completely back to its original shape. But this bone went back just right. Thanks be to God.
And the little tyke was up and bouncing around the house like nothing happen by noon. He should only have to wear the cast for about month.
My son’s spirit is an inspiration for me.
