Yesterday, I posted the story “The Room”. Thanks again to Neely for the link to a short film adaptation of the story. At the end of the film, Joshua Harris, the author of the story, makes some very important comments:
Do you see God’s love for you? It doesn’t matter who you are or what you have done, Christ’s blood can cleanse you and wash away your sins.
I’m someone who only has The Cross to boast in. The Bible says that the day is going to come when we all are going to stand before God, and all of those files are going to be dumped out in front of His throne. We all have them don’t we? Those things we don’t want anyone else to know about.
My confidence for that day is not that I have written enough good files to make up for the bad. My confidence is in this that because I have put my faith in Jesus, His blood covers mine on those files. The question I want to ask you is, on that day, will your name be covered?
Are you searching for true Love? Let your search end here, at The Cross. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, true Love can be known. It can be experienced. It has been demonstrated.
