One-Year Bible Reading Schedule

The following schedule for reading the Bible in one year was found at Presentation Ministries.
To paraphrase from their website:
Daily Bible reading is vital to growth in Christ. This schedule is to encourage you and assist you in reading the entire Bible in one year. This approach:
follows the liturgical calendar year (beginning in December with Advent) and attempts to follow the liturgical seasons in general,
uses natural breaks in the text, rather than chapter breaks,
spaces Psalms and Proverbs throughout the entire year,
calls for reading the Gospels twice a year (approximately half a chapter a day),
includes all 73 books in the original Bible.
This schedule will help in the sometimes difficult discipline of daily Bible reading. You do not need to wait until December to begin following the schedule. You can start anywhere, although you might want to wait for a New or Old Testament book to start at its beginning. The Gospels, Psalms, and Proverbs can be started anywhere without losing any sense of continuity. Start reading today.
NOTE—For chapter and verse breaks, the numbering scheme of the New American Bible (old edition) has been used. If you use another translation with this chart, the numbers may not correspond exactly.
Looking for a translation? Read The Bible: How the Many Versions Came About by Arthur E. Zannoni. Although written by a Catholic, it is fairly non-denominational in presenting the history of Biblical translations. There is a good synopsis at the end of the article comparing the many, many different translations.
